Olive Rock
Olive rock is the name of our dream wedding and conference venue. The project is in its design, concept and budget phase and we expect to be up and running by September 2011.
The type of look and feel we are going for is relaxed yet classy in a French country style. The site is surrounded by an amphitheatre of towering cape fold mountains and rests comfortably along the bank of the Breede river. We know this venue is going to be one of the top venues in the Cape and we are so excited about seeing it develop from scribbles on a note book to bricks and mortar. We will have an artists impression of the structure and surrounds posted shortly.
Our inspiration and desire to create an environment that fulfills every brides dream is drawn from our years in the wedding industry, but also from organizing our own wedding day. We conceptualized, created and executed the whole affair. From creating décor to the catering we did it all ourselves. The result was an atmosphere of warmth, relaxation, love and joy. It could not have been more perfect surrouded by all our closest friends and family sharing our celebration. We now want to create the same ambience and atmosphere for the brides who choose our venue.
